Add Recall to Claude
Recall works in Claude on every plan, including Free. It takes about a minute, on the web or the desktop app.
-
Open Claude’s connectors
On claude.ai, go to Customize → Connectors, then Add → Add custom connector.
-
Paste Recall’s address
Name it Recall and paste this as the server URL:
https://recall-studio.recall-studio.workers.dev/mcp
Leave the other settings as Claude suggests, then select Add.
-
Connect and sign in
Select Connect, sign in to Recall with Google, and allow access. You do this once.
-
Let Recall work without asking each time
The first time Claude uses Recall in a chat, it asks permission. Choose Always allow, so making a deck doesn’t mean approving every card.
-
Try it
In a new chat, ask: “Using Recall, make 10 flashcards on the causes of the First World War.” Then: “Quiz me on them.” The Recall panel opens in the chat with your cards.
Once added, Recall is also in the Claude apps for iPhone and Android with the same account. Your decks and reviews are always on this website too.
Using ChatGPT?
Recall is on its way to ChatGPT’s app directory. Until it’s listed, ChatGPT only lets workspace plans (Business, Enterprise and Edu) add apps like Recall themselves, so Claude is the way to use it for now. Your decks will be there in ChatGPT too once it’s listed.
